ER physician, also a co-lead/ co-founder of the UBC Mass Gathering Medicine Interest Group. Has a globally recognized reputation a lead author and researcher in the field of mass gathering medicine. He has served as medical director for multiple sporting events including the Sun Run, Vancouver Marathon, and Lululemon Seawheeze amongst many other non-running sport related events. And is a contributing author to Mass Gathering Event Guidelines for BC, published in the late fall of 2014.
